Environmental Restoration Internships at Sweet Springs Preserve

Morro Coast Audubon Society (MCAS) is the local chapter of the National Audubon Society representing San Luis Obispo County. We own and manage the 32-acre Sweet Springs Nature Preserve in Los Osos, a unique combination of freshwater marsh, salt marsh and coastal dune scrub habitat that we are trying to restore in collaboration with the surrounding community. We are seeking 1-2 interns to assist with removing invasive species, planting native shrubs and trees and monitoring habitat restoration progress. This internship is not paid, but offers wonderful experience and may even work as a senior project. All interns must be currently enrolled students with a minimum of a 2.5 GPA.

To apply for an internship at Sweet Springs Preserve, please contact MCAS at  (805) 772-1991
Note - Sweet Springs Internships are currently filled until Fall 2013.
