Sweet Springs

The Sweet Springs Nature Preserve is located on Ramona Avenue in the town of Los Osos. It offers hiking trails and excellent views of Morro Bay and Morro Rock.

For printable directions to the preserve, click here (link to PDF). Or to look at a map, click here.

Morro Coast Audubon hosts volunteer days at the Sweet Springs Nature Preserve every 2nd Saturday to help with restoration and ongoing maintenance of the preserve.  We are also happy to arrange special volunteer days which are limited to a specific group.  Activities change with the seasons, but include planting native plants, removing invasive weeds, collecting seed, hand watering, maintaining the trails and much more.  Our volunteer days are open to everyone and suitable for people of all ages and fitness levels.   For more information, contact Holly Sletteland at 239-3928.
