NEW! East Sweet Springs 2011 Sweet Springs Year In Review

NEW! East Sweet Springs Information Page

Sweet Springs Veldt Grass Pull-A-Thon!

Did you resolve to get in shape this year? There's no need to spend big bucks at the gym--not when we have acres of invasive veldt grass to help build those biceps! Join us at the new eastern section of the preserve on the corner of Ramona & 4th St in Los Osos on Saturday, February 11th from 9am to 12pm. We'll be working to restore this incredibly scenic place for people & wildlife.

We'll provide plenty of tools, tips, & munchies. Even prizes! Bring gloves if you have them & dress in layers for changing weather. More info at 239-3928

The Sweet Springs Nature Preserve is located on Ramona Avenue in the town of Los Osos. It offers hiking trails and excellent views of Morro Bay and Morro Rock. Sweet Springs is a 24 acre preserve with a trail system approximately 1 mile long. Dogs are allowed on the trail as long as they are on a leash. There is no beach access.
