Warden Lake
Check fence rows in this area for flycatchers. Cassin’s and Tropical kingbirds and Vermilion Flycatcher have wintered here. With access, check the lake for waterfowl. Check all habitats along drainage. Look through willows for warblers and marshy areas for Swamp Sparrow, American Bittern and Green Heron. Watch for swallows. If possible, gain access to this small pond. Road to pond located about 1/4 mile from Los Osos Valley Road on Turri Road. Look for waterfowl and swallows.
Fields - Check fields for Horned Lark and American Pipit. Scan hillsides for Burrowing Owl and fence rows for flycatchers.
Los Osos Cemetery - Check cemetery for Common Snipe and sparrow flocks on lawn.
