Also noted are species that are hard to find within the count circle and are possible within the habitat of this section. Please don't 1imit censussing to just the areas mentioned, but consider them the most important. Cover as much of the section as your time and energy allows. Rancho el Chorro / Chorro Regional Park

Check Pennington and Dairy Creeks - Rancho el Chorro, Chorro Regional Park, and the Dairy Creek Golf Course. Much of this section must be covered on foot. If owling, be alert for Screech and Pygmy Owls.

Rancho el Chorro - Check pond, around buildings for sparrows. Watch for raptor, Burrowing Owls, and Turkeys.

El Chorro Regional Park and Dairy Creek Golf Course - Check pepper trees for sapsuckers and watch for White-tailed Kite.

Check the campground and the ponds on the golf course.
