this sector that may be the most productive
based on past experience. Also noted are
species that are hard to find within the count circle and are possible within
the habitat of this sector. Please don't 1imit censussing to
just the areas mentioned, but consider them the most important. Cover as much
of the sector as your time and energy allows. Remember, if your party splits or moves to
another section, please begin a new field card. Any constructive comments
about this sector would be appreciated (i.e. too big or small, access problem,

SECTOR 5- Rancho el Chorro I Chorro
Regional Park
Check Pennington and Dairy
Creeks - Rancho el Chorro, and Chorro Regional Park. Much of this sector must be covered on foot.
If owling, be alert for Screech and Pygmy Owls.
Ranch el Chorro - Check
pond, around buildings for sparrows. Watch for raptor, Burrowing Owls, and Turkeys.
El Chorro Regional Park -
Check peeper trees for sapsuckers. Watch
for White-tailed Kite.
