Field Trip: Global Big Day - Morro Bay Boat Cruise

Description: Join the MCAS Field Trip Team to celebrate Global Big Day with a leisurely boating tour of the bay and estuary on Sub Sea Tours Dos Osos. Cruise the length of the bay to identify a variety of shorebirds, sea ducks, grebes and loons often at close range. The boat will move slowly enough for you to see details of many species that you normally see only through a scope from shore. Good photo opportunities, but no tripods and spotting scopes.
Selected participants will be sent a payment link and must remit payment ($40) within 6 days of registration to be completely confirmed for the trip. The remaining signups will be put on standby status in case of cancellations. Payment and meeting arrangements will be provided to the participants selected. Only registered people may attend.
Weather conditions may cancel.
This field trip is not ADA accessible, bathrooms are available at the landing, and the trip is open to all levels of experience (beginning birders, advanced birders, etc.).
