MCAS Sends Letter to U.S. Forest Service Re: Roadless Rule

MCAS is opposed to the rescission of the 2001 Roadless Rule and has sent a letter to the U.S. Forest Service from our conservation chair Michael Mulroy. The letter explains MCAS's position and counters the government's justification for the rescission. There is also legislation pending (Roadless Area Conservation Act -- H.R. 3930 and S. 2042) to make the Roadless Rule permanent.
